Campground Rules

Lets have a good time
  • Must be 18+ to reserve.
  • Max 6 adults or 1 family unit per site.
  • Check-in: 3:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM
  • Management may refuse service to anyone.
  • No disorderly conduct, violence, or threats.
  • You are responsible for your children and pets.
  • Pets must be leashed and waste picked up.
  • Stay on designated sites and trails.
  • Picnic tables must stay at assigned site (group sites may temporarily combine).
  • All trash must go in dumpsters. Leftover trash = cleaning fee.
  • Keep sites clean and unmodified.

Noise Rules

A quiet night in the woods
  • Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 8 AM (Sun–Thu) | 11 PM – 7 AM (Fri–Sat)
  • No combustion generators at any time.
  • No outdoor speakers. Indoor volume must not disturb neighbors (headphones recommended 🤘).
  • No combustion ATV/UTV/golf cart use during quiet hours.

Vehicle & Trailer Rules

  • All vehicles must have current registration.
  • Park only on designated gravel pads. No grass or blocking roads.
  • Extra vehicles, boats, or trailers need approval for overnight parking.
  • No EV charging on site pedestals.
  • No washing or maintenance on site.
  • Use parking brakes and/or wheel chocks on all vehicles/trailers.

Campfire & Combustion Rules

  • Fireworks prohibited.
  • Campfires only in designated metal fire rings. Burn clean, dry wood only. Do not move fire rings.
  • Check restrictions daily at WisBURN or call 1-888-WIS-BURN. Campfires banned when DNR fire danger is Very High or Extreme.
  • Fires must be attended by an adult. Fully extinguish (drown, stir, drown again).
  • Use only local firewood (within 25 miles) or certified pest-free wood. No out-of-state wood.
  • Harvesting freestanding or fallen trees is prohibited.
  • Open flames, fires, smoking & vaping are prohibited inside any campground buildings

Campsite Rules

  • Sawyer County requires moving sites for stays longer than three weeks.
  • Max 1 RV + 1 tent, or 2 tents per site.
  • RVs must be in good working order.
  • Black & grey water must connect properly to 4″ sewer hookup. Ask staff for help if needed.
  • Ground stakes max 12″.
  • Clotheslines or lights must not pose a hazard.
  • Please do not tie hammocks to trees — it damages the bark and can kill them. Freestanding hammock stands are welcome.

Visitor Rules

  • All visitors must check in at the office.
  • Visitors allowed 9 AM – 10 PM.
  • Overnight visitors need approval and count toward occupancy.

Violation Policy

  • Management reserves the right to evict guests who violate rules or create disturbances, without refund.
  • By making a reservation, guests agree to comply with all park rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in eviction without refund.
  • Repeated Offenses may result in loss of future access to the campground.
